music: i caught myself-paramore
Youre pushing and pulling me down to you
But I dont know what I
Now when I caught myself, I had to stop myself
Im saying something that I should have never thought
Now when I caught myself, I had to stop myself
Im saying something that I should have never thought of you
Youre pushing and pulling me down to you
But I dont know what I want
No I dont know what I want
You got it, you got it
Some kind of magic
Hypnotic, hypnotic
Youre leaving me breathless
I hate this, I hate this
Youre not the one I believe in
With God as my witness
Now when I caught myself, I had to stop myself
Im saying something that I should have never thought
Now when I caught myself, I had to stop myself
Im saying something that I should have never thought of you
Youre pushing and pulling me down to you
But I dont know what I want
No I dont know what I want
Dont know what I want
But I know its not you
Keep pushing and pulling me down
But I know in my heart its not you
Now when I caught myself, I had to stop myself
Im saying something that I should have never thought
Now when I caught myself, I had to stop myself
Im saying something that I should have never thought of you
I knew, I know in my heart its not you
I never know what I want, I want, I want
Oh no, I should have never thought

I love you earplugs. I've finally found the magic successful trick to a good nights sleep while on a plane. Earplugs. Thanks target. I have made it back in one piece and on time to Cincinnati. My room looks like a princess room would look in a castle. Bed looks really comfy, too bad I won't see her for another 12 hours or so. Back to tech rehearsals and now dress rehearsals today. Exciting.
SOOOOOOO much fun at voodoo fest in N'Orleans. I watched some of the dashboard set, and cold war kids and panic from out front and it was so fun to be in the sunlight, grass and surrounded by the smell of sweat and outside. It was a great little vacation from being indoors all day dancing. Just what the doctor ordered.
Everyone knows I love a good old you tube video. I don't really watch tv but I do watch youtube. I love to send people silly videos and it is both a dorky and kind of awesome hobby. THIS. THIS video... Is completely unattractive, scary and reminds me of bye, bye, bye by N'sync. At the same time, it is charming, catchy and makes you want to learn the moves to knock on the door, hold out your bag and grab the candy. It also reminds me that anything that I can do, b. urie will always be able to do better. IS there anything that he cannot just instantly perfect. geez.
However, there is one man/woman I think that can give bden a run for his money. My friend and fellow Rockette this season is featured in this new Beyonce Video. It is very Fosse- ish and from what I heard invloved alot of two way tape and baby oil. Hot. Here is the video. She's on the left to start.
Now check out THIS AMAZINGNESS below. This guy is hot. This is what youtube is for. Amazing.
so much youtube and so little time. ENJOY.

A Teacher asked her class of seven year olds if anyone could explain the meaning of the word contagious.
Little Shannon put her hand in the air and says "When I was five I had chickenpox and had to stay at home because the doctor told my mother chickenpox was contagious."
The teacher replied "Yes Shannon that is a very good example well done."
Then young Daniel put his hand in the air and said "My next door neighbor was painting the outside of her house with a 2 inch paintbrush and my dad said that it will take the contagious!"
oh, quinn allman is too cute. ha.

Exciting news: Tommorrow the Rockettes will be on Ellen and also Dancing with the Stars.
Not so exciting news: I will be kicking on concrete for most of tommorrow.
I thought all you should hear this little diddy from my friend Christina Perri. I would like to admit that any inch of any amount of coolness I might have has come directly from this girl. A true talent in a world repackaged, over processed crap. I first met Chris years ago when for a hot second I dated her equally talented brother, and at the time she had hair down to her butt and about 25 tattoos. You know how everyone has that haircut where it is long in the front and really short in the back. She invented that. I was with her, one day in Philly and she said, "I want to make my hair be more full on the top" and then she cut the entire top of her hair about 4 inches long. From there the "christina perri" arrived. One day I was with her in LA and asked her "when did every single person on the planet get your haircut?". I mean, it is a cool do fo sho. This is a girl who has a naked woman tattoo on her arm. I think she has about 32? now? Sometimes when I am unsure of what to wear I check out what she wears and then I wear the same thing. (thanks black jumper!) Once on the subway, we were talking about how to be thin and she said, "It's easy! Drink lots and lots of water and DO NOT eat cheeseburgers". She has since been named the cheeseburgler. She is an amazing friend and has driven to see me when I really needed her and always defended me and loved me no matter what anyone else has said. If life is determined by life force, she is a category 5 for sure. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do and hopefully she will have a record out soon.

wow. I cannot believe that it has been 4 months already. It's been a hard 4 months, that's for sure. I miss Olivia every single day. There has not been a day that has gone by that I haven't thought about her. Everything seems to remind me of her. But that isn't a bad thing, it's a great thing. As much as it kills me to know she is gone, she really isn't gone. I know that she is watching over me, over all of us. She is everywhere, in all of our hearts. I hope that she is happy where she is. I miss her so much.
R.I.P. Beautiful...I Will Always Love You!

so last night i found out that my grandpa is getting married. how effing weird is that? like, i am going to have a new grandmother? wtf... and i have no idea who this lady is. i have never met her before. and i am pretty close to my grandpa...so i don't understand. i guess my aunt is really unhappy about. and i don't know how my dad feels about it. but i mean, my grandmother passed away 15 years ago...so at least it wasn't recent and he is getting married so soon. but it is still very very strange. and i hope this lady is nice and doesn't just want my grandpa for his money. because my grandpa deserves only the best.

I had 3 full day at my parents lake house in Saskatchewan with no cell phone, no internet, no phone or contact with the outside world and I can honestly say I missed nothing. I cuddled with my pup each morning and night (I love the way her ears smell) hung out with my amazing parents, read a great book " Who will miss you when you die?" a very good read about the way we treat people and the things that really really matter. Now I am reading "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch, it is beautiful and super inspiring. I used to think people who read self-help books had something wrong with them, but I think the people who do have something RIGHT with them- the WANT to improve our time on earth. Pretty Special. Did anyone see the FULL moon? How amazing, I totally dig moonlight. I got to thinking about how lucky I am to have two parents who have been madly in love for 3O years and have nothing but love for me. I recently asked my mom, " was it hard to love me when I was ages 9 to 17- when I was super akward and going thru growing up?" and she said " You have always been easy to love, you were just more gangly then, you had really long arms." Thats a cool momma.
Hobo Ross is doing amazing. She's discovered lakes, sand and wildness this week and it has been pretty exciting. She also has discovered what it is like to smell home cooked food and I think it has blown her little puppy mind.
I have been doing great. So excited to start Rockettes in a few weeks. Trying to wrap my mind around 4 months on the road. Thanks to everyone for the cool notes and comments, I read them all even if I never get a chance to reply. I feel great, super excited about life and learning to come to terms with the fact that not everything happens the way you plan, want or think it will. I have so may amazing things in my life and I am choosing not to cry over the ones that turn sour.
Today I got this email.
"Ms. Keltie,
Was in NY and a friend was showing me some unrelated footage and came across your site. Just wanted to pass on my congratulations on what seems to be a incredibly fulfilling career in NY. You had a glimmer in your eye all those years back and an incredible personality - Proud of you kiddo!!"
from an OLD friend from when I was 18 and dancing on my first cruise ship. Reminds me that we all impact peoples lives regardless of if we think so or not. Our lives just come in waves, and all we can do is hold on.
Here are some songs you should hear:
The pieces don't fit right anymore- James Morrison
Nicest Thing- Kate Nash
Telemarket Mishap- Deer and the headlights
Shoulda said no -Taylor Swift (I love the country music!)
Maps- Yeah yeah yeahs
First Love- Adele
Simple- From the musical "NINE"
enjoy the last bit of the month before fall.
lots of lovesssss

Panic at the Disco departs from its emo-rock genre for subtler sounds.
Aug. 18th, 2008 | 03:11 pm
location: my bed.
Formed in 2004, Brendon Urie (vocals), Ryan Ross (guitars), Jon Walker, Spencer Smith (drums) and Brent Wilson (bass) came together as a Las Vegas band fuelled by enthusiasm and passion for the music scene.
The road to stardom came along as Pete Wentz of fame rock band Fallout Boys drove all the way to Las Vegas to watch the boys perform. Impressed, he immediately signed them to his label, Decaydance Records, that later produced the band’s debut album A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out in 2006.
Later, bassist Wilson left the band due to personal issues.
The album spawned numerous catchy tunes such as I Write Sins Not Tragedies and Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off.
“We were young during the making of our first album. In fact, at 19 years of age, everything sounds great,” said Ross, the band’s lead lyricist, during a Press conference in Kuala Lumpur recently.
“In fact, we had ample time to write and decide what sounds good and not. We had no pressure and all we wanted to do was to put our music out there,” added Ross regarding the band’s route to stardom.
Having won numerous awards including Video of the Year for I Write Sins and Not Tragedies in 2006 at the MTV Music Awards, the band is under no pressure from the music industry.
“We just want to revamp and experiment with music,” said Ross.
The band’s second album, Pretty.Odd, departs from its emo-rock genre for a rather subtle sound.
“We love the sound of the second album. It is more classic rock,” said Ross.
The album generated comparisons to The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Most tracks are reminiscent of The Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper.
“Those are nostalgic tracks and we are heavily influenced by bands such as The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Most probably our maturity as musicians helps to navigate the album. And we do feel that the second album is more polished than the first,” said Urie.
But the boys had to face the challenge of composing songs while on tour.
“It is different and difficult. We did not take that lightly. Time seems to be the main factor that constrained us in writing materials for the second album,” said Ross referring to Pretty.Odd that took three years to complete.
Rob Mathes, who works with Eric Clapton, Natalie Cole, Tim McGraw and Avril Lavigne, make changes to the album.
“He is a genius. He gave a lot of input on what works and what does not. We learned a great deal from him,” said Urie.
Pretty.Odd, which was released in March, sees tracks such as Nine in the Afternoon, That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed) and Mad as Rabbits marking a new sound for the band and attracting compliments from music critics.
“We are grateful that fans received the album well. As for the critics, we are glad that the changes brought good reviews,” said Ross.
The lads also had the opportunity to record their tracks at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.
“It was a mind-boggling experience and we were excited just to be there,” said Ross.
The band also shares the same trumpet player from The Beatles’ track Penny Lane for Panic at the Disco’s Nine in the Afternoon.
“He was around and we thought, why not! That is something nostalgic and to be remembered for years,” said Urie.
As for their statement of becoming the new Radiohead made in an interview with British weekly music magazine, NME magazine, the boys believed that it was blown out of context.
“That is what happens when you get drunk during an interview,” said Ross teasing Urie who was responsible for the quote.
“He did not mean it that way. He was referring to the comparisons that people often made about us. We just want to play our own music,” he added.

Once upon a time I took a greyhound bus for 2 days and 16 hours to move to a little city called New York. I showed up on 42nd street with a giant tupperware and everything after that has been the hardest, scariest, most worthwhile blessing any dancer could ask for. I have worked my ass off for everything I have gotten, nothing comes easily to me- I am a fighter. an artist and a believer. Before that I was ziplining through the jungle in Costa Rica, drinking coffee in Columbia, climbing glaciers in Alaska, sitting on the most beautiful beaches in the world and swimming in the clearest oceans you have ever seen. Lucky for me I have the best agent in the world at BLOC and because of her I I have been on tv, movies, commercials, music videos, danced on the court for the NETS and the KNICKS and the only thing that means anything to me is dancing in a line with my sisters as a Radio City Rockette. Everything in my life comes second to highkicks- I am an uber nerd. My favorite things are knitting, reading, drinking tea (I have over 20 kinds), taking really hard ballet classes, and listening to musicals. My favorite musicals of all time are "RENT" and "The Last Five Years". I am crazy. My mom is buddhist and the most beautiful person I have ever met. Things that inspire me are : sunshine, looking up, the lines a dancers body can make, Bob Fosse, sweet smelling rain, broadway, the movie "girls just want to have fun". I brought the word "RAD" back from 1986, about 5 years ago and now you can find it on t-shirts at hoilitser. You are welcome. Everyone I love in my life has a nickname. If you know me, and you don't have a nickname like: Bananapants, spagatti, sheshe, vunit, mccheeseburgler, boobies, justjust, nana, nana2, mcgee--I probably don't really like you that much. True story: I started the braless and flawless summer in New York and once when I left my house and some lady yelled at me "YOU'RE NOT WEARING A BRA, YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" oh. But I can. And I do. Once while walking down the street in manhattan a man yelled at me "HOT DAMN! I LOVE A BOW LEGGED WOMAN!" yes sir. So do i. Once I saw a cactus and I thought it would be fun to see if the spikes really hurt. They do. In 5th grade I almost killed myself by playing with a drill and pretending it was a curling iron. I've been beautyzone retarded since. The bald spot grew in. Thanks. I like to eat peanut butter and sugar sandwiches. Try it. I think that when god made the world he should have left the cockroaches out of it. And I could do without the province of saskatchewan also. My mom told me I was "the best and prettiest". If you parents told you the same thing, they are lying. Choose to believe what you want, but I'm going to take my moms side. I have a ninja. He rolls into a ninjaball. I invented a town called "crazytown". You should come over for a hulahoop and some double dutch. I don't believe in natural blondes, I do however believe in natural mullets. My boyfriend and I are on a mission to create a world where we come together with love and celebrate happiness and peace, instead of the way the world works now where we join together and bond over darkness and hate. Mean people who lie and cheat get ahead- why is that? People who do nothing for a living become famous? Are these really our heroes? Shouldn't we all be searching for more? Asking for more? Demanding more? I want my idols to stand up, be free and true and be worth my time. I want to make a cup of tea for Bono. I want to hug the Dalai Lama. I want to make J. Lennon proud. I do not have expensive clothes. I do not have the right look. I do not go out everynight and go to the "cool" spots. But I am 10 times happier than I ever was when I did those things or had those things. I am in the process of becoming an enlightened being with an awakened heart. Love eachother or perish.
